Caravan, Motors and Tourism Fair (CMT) 2010, Europe’s largest public exhibition for tourism and leisure beside caravan and motor is approaching with improved presentation opportunities which is going to be staged at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, the new Landesmesse on the outskirts of Stuttgart next to the Airport Stuttgart-Echterdingen, from January 16- January 24, 2010.
CMT is organized as the premier tourism fair at the start of every year and attracts mainly consumers who come to obtain ideas and suggestions to select their next holiday destinations. CMT 2009 has been exceptional with regard to the tourism sector, despite the global economic crisis it has been able to attract nearly three hundred thousand visitors from all over Germany and from Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands and 1900 exhibitors from around 100 countries.
As in the previous years this time also Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NGCCI) is coordinating country’s participation at the annual CMT Fair 2010 in Stuttgart in association with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Honorary Nepalese Consulate General in Stuttgart.
The national campaign of ‘Nepal Tourism Year – 2011’ aims to once again rejuvenate Nepalese tourism industry. It has created a lot of optimism and eagerness in tourism sector. The upcoming CMT 2010 could be the opportunity to promote the country’s tourist attractions ranging from cultural products to scenic beauty and adventure products. Interested Tourism companies are requested to submit the duly filled up Forms latest by December 5, 2009 for participation. The participation has been limited to max 5 companies only and will be on first come - first served basis.
