Under the NGCCI initiative program, the chamber management implemented gender and social inclusion activities that helped to educate 65 women in Ilam district, a hub for Nepali tea industry. Through focused training, the program boosted their knowledge on economic empowerment, social inclusion, and understanding of their rights, significantly enhancing their self-reliance and ability to advocate for better livelihoods as employees of various tea estates.
